The song that I pick is “the way I am” by Eminem. This song talk about of many of perjuries that the society have to him and he is exhausted. And he going to be in the way that he wants without the opinion of other peoples. In this song have many bad words but have rhythm and make a sense like an angry man and tired of the bad comment that the people do. But he really expresses his feelings in that song.

The song has the same rhythm in most of verse except the chorus. If we read the song we can notice that many of those phrases have the same types of sound. For example “I sit back with this pack of Zig Zags and this bag”. The words have the same end soundly. Most of the song has the same rhythm. We can read this song like a poem because the ends of those words that have the same rhythm and permit the song can be read. This song it is not my favorite but have the rhythm like the song that we discuses on class.

I understand your essay and the thing that you want to say. But it is much better if you divide the paragraph and extend more your ideas. All the ideas that you write was excellent and true but you written all of them in one paragraph. If you do this cant express clarity the opinion that you want to transmit us. It is easier if you write one idea per paragraph. But in general I like it. Sometimes I was confusing with the thesis. Sometimes I think that the thesis was why Iago is a hypocritical person and sometimes I felt like I am reading all the bad things that Iago was.

Iago's love

In this essay you can find in details an analysis of a character Iago. This character has an important role in this tragedy drama of “Othello, the Moore of Venice”. Iago was an evil person but no one knows because he had a good appearance to all of the character. All this tragedy drama was around in how Iago can destroy all around him. The evil attitude to Othello, Desdemona and Roderigo was because he is in love to Desdemona but secretly. Iago make revenge to all this character before mentioned because don’t have the love of Desdemona and never will. I describe Iago like an unhappy, jealous and dissatisfied person. But all the tragedy or bad event was tied to Desdemona and in this essay I am going too proved with some argument that it is the real reason that has Iago to use the strategy that change possible happy ended of this drama.

First of all, Iago have inferiority complex in the society because he don’t have money, powerful, and a good relationship with his wife. Obviously he has a disadvantage to Othello and Rodrigo. Rodrigo have all the characteristic to attract the attention of Desdemona and this is the reason that Iago to hate Rodrigo. He has advantages economic benefit. At this time that took chauvinism and be a warrior it’s humiliating that be a rejected for a woman. If he doesn’t be happy anybody around him be happy. Othello have the love of Desdemona and have the position of General. Iago want the position of lieutenant but Othello gave to Cassio. Othello was a black person; we know this because in Act III scene III they said: “…To pray at fortune. Haply, for I am black…” and this is other reason that Iago was jealous to Othello. Because been a black person have the love of Desdemona how it’s beautiful and a white pretty woman. Iago difference with Rodrigo is that he doesn’t have money and Rodrigo have.

I have to defend my thesis was that Iago can’t love Emilia although that has married together. But this is not an impediment to love someone else. When he kills Emilia this is the way that we can prove that he don’t love her. He know that Emilia love him because she gave to him the Desdemona’s scarf and Emilia know that if she doing things like that to attract Iago attention can fix the relationship. Emilia obviously don’t love himself and less Desdemona. Why Emilia was jealous to Desdemona? Why she gave to her husband the Desdemona’s scarf? To possible theory: the first is because Desdemona was more pretty and have more lucky with man that her. And the other one was that Emilia notice that Iago was interesting in some relate to something about Desdemona and Othello. But she never think that her husband do this for her. At the end of the Drama when she reacted that Iago makes a many bad strategy to Othello and Desdemona, she react and want to tell the true. But was late and then he kill her. If you love someone, you are going to killed like a joke?

Why he need to beneficiate and swindle Rodrigo? Obviously that Iago was a smart person and know to do strategy because he was a warrior. But he do this with double propose: knowing all the constantly movement that he do with Desdemona and have easily money. Also Iago know that Roderigo was an insecure person and can take benefit about this. Iago was always was alert to Roderigo movement and advise to him. He need to be a”friend” because know what happen with Desdemona. Obviously Iago Know that at this moment Desdemona can’t pay attention to him. But can be her “pano de lagrimas” in the future.

Why Iago want to discredit Desdemona? Why Iago solve the difference only with Othello fighting like at this time? Why Iago involucrate Desdemona if is a work difference? The only reason is that Iago love Desdemona. Iago can kill Othello or paid someone to do this for him. This is the only reason for this drama tragedy. Now you have the same thought?

Othello, the Moore of Venice

Iago,it is a bad character with many features. This character is always be friends but all at once from anybody. Iago makes deception to obtain a benefit that returning to his own. I understand that this character lives with much resentment towards other people and is not happy. Iago hopes that the others being unhappyin. In the Drama of Shakespeare I can understand that Iago n wants to do damage: Cassio, Othello and Desdemona. Iago wants Killing Casio, destroy Othello and Desdemona of detachment.

These characteristics can be noted in the Act I of the drama when Iago tells Othello that was nearing to kill Rodrigo. This it is a lie because Iago had a "friendship" with Rodrigo. Iago later in Act I Iago tells Rodrigo to raise money and persecuting Othello and then get to Desdemona when it is tired of Othello. These features are not typical of a good friend. Rodrigo are in love with Desdemona and he do anything to get it no matter the price it cost. Iago wants to destroy Othello because it gave the post of lieutenant to Cassio and not for him. This gives a lot of courage to Iago. Iago to get revenge it lays to Rodrigo and say that Desdemona loves Cassio. Iago wants to kill Cassio because this is not given the post of lieutenant and gave it to Othello.

Iago also creates enmity between Othello and Cassio because Iago tell to Othello that his wife is in love with Cassio. Thereafter, Act III, is starting jealousy of Othello to Desdemona. Cassio is going to speak with Desdemona. Othello arrives at that time and sees them talking. Desdemona was surprised by the attitude of courage that Othello had. It falls to Desdemona a handkerchief and Emilia taking. Iago put the handkerchief in Cassio’s room. Cassio takes it without knowing who the handkerchief. Cassio gives this handkerchief to Bianca.

In Act IV Iago tells Othello hear a conversation secretly to verify that Desdemona it is unfaithful with Cassio. Cassio was not talking about Desdemona. But Othello don’t think that and was jealous. Then Iago persuaded Rodrigo to kills Cassio. Then Iago stab Rodrigo in her back. Then came up Othello and congratulated Iago for this act. Then Othello Kill Desdemona. Iago has been responsible for everything already mentioned above.

In conclusion, Othello wants destroy Cassio because he gave to Othello the post of lieutenant that he wants. Iago do this because have jealous of Othello. Iago wants to kill Cassio because it gave him the post of lieutenant that he wanted. Iago also wanted to discredit Desdemona saying that she was unfaithful to Othello. Iago created in Othello problems whit his wife and created unhappiness killing his wife and then himself.

My English

In “My English” essay you can find all about my knowledge in English language and who i learned. The English language it’s very important as well Spanish language. In some schools in Puerto Rico is not given the emphasis it should give to those languages and not given an equal importance to these two languages. I think that this is the problem of many people who do not know or have not knowledge of English. I have the belief that we must teach our children Spanish language first and then teach a second language, English.

The knowledge I have with the English language is seen TV programs in English and i learn many of the things that I know. I understand spoken English but write it difficult. Some times I write words or letter in bad order, or I don’t make a good conjugate of verbs. Some time when I stay many times without English T.V. programs I don’t remember some words in English and that make me confusing sometimes. In my high school I don’t receive a good training of basic English and That was not good because when I enter the college hampered in many of the classes having their textbooks in English and was very difficult to me understand and have a fast comprehension the literature. In this case I need to use a dictionary to find a definition and that it’s frustrating.

My current use in English is in my work when people come to the theater and the only language that they spoken is English and I don’t have options to speak English. But it’s interesting. I use the English when use in the internet. When I buy some articles in eBay or when I read some instruction of some programs. My work and the internet is my reason to learn more English because is very important. At present the English language is very important globally because it is used when we travel, seek employment and the university. Although some Americans have not many knowledge of Spanish language and when they travel to somewhere speaking Spanish not cause embarrassment.

My future with the English was many. I believe that the English in my future life is going to have much influence. One of the most important reasons is that I am going to be a master in agricultural education and many books and articles are in English. I need to have perfect English in order to transmit knowledge correctly. For my future plans I want make a doctorate and it is important to have a good knowledge in English.

In conclusion, English is important like the Spanish. Knowing this language has many benefits of what we believe. Because it opens many doors for working professionals and we must master both languages. Take advantage of this kind at the maximum because I think I need a little more under control. I believe that putting into practice the reading and writing in English so I beneficiaries much more.
